Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ordering all seafood product merchandise and supplies including fresh product, frozen product, wrap and all other necessary items.
• Ensuring proper training and scheduling of all new associates within the seafood department.
• Communicating all rules and regulations of the company to all Seafood associates.
• Operating all special programs within the Seafood department such as the fried fish program, the marinade program, and all demo programs.
• Maintaining seafood department record keeping and adherence to predetermined budgets (financial aspects, payroll, wrap).
• Maintaining a neat, clean and organized workstation according to 5S standards at all times.
• Maintaining inventory control of both fresh and frozen products.
• Presentation and outlays of all displays for the entire department.
• Maintaining a high level of customer courtesy and service at all times within the seafood department (accuracy of special orders such as shrimp platters).
• Maintaining all factors of the computer-generated ordering system.
• Ensuring ice display is set to correct standards on a daily basis.
• Controlling shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
• Satisfactory performance reviews.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Successful completion of the most recent certification program within 6 months if selected for the position.
