About the role

Brunswick’s Integrated Manufacturing Center (BIMC), located in Merritt Island, Florida, supports the growth and development of Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, and other Brunswick boat brands. This location centralizes Brunswick’s vertical integration capabilities to deliver efficient, cost-effective capacity and productivity planning.

Responsibilities

• Performs a limited variety of less complex upholstery tasks, such as making and stuffing cushions (where this is a majority of the role).
• Covers carpet parts and works on the assembly floor, handling simple to moderately complex parts like muffs, bolsters, bulkheads, and other small components.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand production schedules, job descriptions, and prints.
• Ability to obtain department inspection and buy-offs.
• Proficiency in using a wide variety of hand tools, both powered and manual.
• Working knowledge of procedures, instructions, and documents related to the quality system.

Safety Requirements

• Commitment to working safely at all times and reporting hazards to a supervisor immediately.
• Understanding of basic regulatory terminology (e.g., OSHA, DEP).
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves.
• Ability to complete OSHA questionnaires, pass spirometer tests, and physically wear a respirator where required.
• Physical capability to handle job requirements, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, and standing, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Understanding of all safety-related documents, worksite rules, equipment operating instructions, and health and safety requirements, including General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment.

Pay

The anticipated pay range for this position is $19.26 to $25.03 per hour. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
