About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Sewer with expertise in working with leather to join our manufacturing team. As a Production Sewer specializing in leather goods, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and production of high-quality leather products. Responsibilities
- Execute sewing tasks with precision and expertise, specifically working with leather materials to assemble various products according to design specifications.
- Interpret and follow patterns accurately to ensure the consistent and precise assembly of leather components.
- Work with different types of leather, understanding their unique characteristics, and adapting sewing techniques accordingly to achieve desired results.
- Adhere to strict quality standards, conducting regular inspections to identify and address any defects in the finished products.
- Collaborate with the production team, including pattern makers, cutters, and designers, to ensure seamless coordination and the efficient execution of manufacturing processes.
- Perform regular maintenance on industrial sewing machines to ensure optimal functionality and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
- Work efficiently to meet production targets without compromising on the quality of the finished leather goods.
- Troubleshoot and address sewing-related issues promptly, proposing effective solutions to maintain smooth production workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Sewer with a specialization in working with leather materials.
- Proficient in sewing techniques, including the use of industrial sewing machines and related tools.
