The Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you will identify new business opportunities, engage prospective customers, and help drive revenue growth for our SaaS solutions.
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, inbound lead follow-up, and email campaigns
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand customer pain points, business needs, and technical requirements
- Articulate the value of our SaaS platform to uncover opportunities and help prospects see their potential gaps in data recovery
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Marketing, OEMs, and Resellers to drive customer acquisition
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity tracking in CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly appointment targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Develop a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends
- Follow-up with prospects in a timely and professional manner throughout the sales campaign
What You Bring
- 1-4 years of inside sales, business development, or SaaS sales experience preferred
- Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, and work sales
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls and engaging executive-level stakeholders
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, or similar tools
- Self-motivated, coachable, and highly organized
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required based on experience
