SDMI Waiver Group Home & Day Treatment Clinical Lead

Essential Job Functions

  • Clinically supervises SDMI Waiver Group homes and Day Treatment
  • Ensure SDMI Waiver Group homes and Day Treatment are following Administrative Rules of Montana
  • Oversee the design and implementation of skills training for the client in activities of daily living, play, leisure, socialization, and personal hygiene
  • Provide mental health counseling to adults and groups; conduct diagnostic interviews with new clients; and provide crisis intervention during working hours, when scheduled, or as needed
  • Consultation and cooperation with EMCMHC staff, area physicians, and other professionals as necessary in developing treatment plans for clients, client care coordination, and inpatient referrals when necessary
  • Maintain progress notes, treatment plans, and other records in accordance with EMCMHC policy while maintaining confidentiality requirements for patient privacy (i.e., HIPAA)
  • Identify staff trainings to enhance the quality of client services, as well as staff development and wellness
  • Oversee the initial screening of the client’s appropriateness for the SDMI Waiver Group Home
  • Following attendance at professional workshops, provide in-service clinical programs as appropriate
  • Meet productivity standards in accordance with expectations outlined by agency policy
  • Facilitate meetings, review files before release
  • Working with transitioning adults by assisting with the coordinating of services necessary for their success
  • Attend staff meetings and peer reviews, team service and coordination meetings, in-service trainings, and outside-service training as provided
  • Periodically observe activities in SDMI Waiver Group Homes and Day Treatment

Major Areas of Accountability and Performance

  • Supervise the clinical oversight of residential Manager and day treatment

Education, Training, and Experience Requirements

  • Master’s Degree required in Social Work or related field
  • Possess License SWLC/LCSW or PCLC/LCPC and maintain such license through meeting Continuing Education requirements throughout employment
  • Must complete Credible EHR functionality and overview training within the first month of employment and maintain Certification throughout employment
  • Must possess a valid Montana Operator’s License (If your own personal vehicle is used to transport any client, your vehicle must have insurance that will cover passengers)
