Job Description

Perform comprehensive testing of mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and reliability. Conduct testing across various platforms and devices to validate app performance. Utilise specialised testing tools and frameworks tailored for mobile environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and formulate effective test strategies. Analyse test results thoroughly and report defects with detailed documentation. Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in mobile app testing. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in mobile testing and IoT domains.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases for mobile applications within the Nxt IoT Testing family.
• Identify documents and track bugs and issues through the entire defect lifecycle.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide valuable input on testability aspects.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues promptly and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Mentor junior testers by guiding testing methodologies and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools and overall quality assurance.
