About the role
Responsible for independently managing highly complex client business initiatives consisting of one or multiple scrum teams. Execute end-to-end client engagements, ensuring regular client updates and meetings, stakeholder management, team and project coordination, change management, risk analysis, tracking execution and success metrics.
Location: New York, NY. This position is not eligible for Immigration Sponsorship at this time.
Responsibilities
- Excellent understanding of SDLC processes and managing medium to large complex Cloud-based projects (preferably AWS) using SCRUM methodology.
- Build, work with, and manage global and diverse teams.
- Accountable for end-to-end project/program delivery from initiation to closure.
- Establish communications between teams and stakeholders (team, Product Owner, Domain SME, 3P vendors, Architecture team, IT Team, etc.) and manage client relationships.
- Interact, coordinate, and communicate with all levels of business leadership and operational teams.
- Lead diverse resources, define and execute training and development plans as needed.
- Handle Change Management, Knowledge Management, Risk Management, and Quality Management processes as defined by client Agile practices.
- Execute projects using Agile methodology, coaching Agile practices, and removing impediments.
- Engage with Product Owners to create project vision, define product backlog, and perform release planning.
- Lead the project team through Planning and Estimation, Forecasting, Implementation, Reviews, and Retrospective activities.
- Ensure compliance with all required client-recommended processes during the project lifecycle.
- Work with teams to resolve issues, progress daily tasks, and guide them through sprint execution and release management.
- Capture Epics, User Stories, Tasks, and other sprint aspects in Agile tools (JIRA, Rally, etc.) on a timely basis.
- Facilitate meetings (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective).
- Use Agile tools like JIRA, Rally, Azure DevOps, etc., proficiently.
- Act as liaison between Fractal team, client’s Product managers, and multiple vendors.
- Clear obstacles in multiple projects on a daily basis.
- Establish an environment where the team can be effective and address team dynamics tactically.
- Assign team members to projects and enable them with required support from other teams and experts.
- Protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with experience in IT and data and analytics business & portfolio operations.
- 5+ years of experience delivering complex Agile projects, with proven ability to apply Scrum Master methods and techniques.
- Ability to multi-task and provide quick solutions.
- Experience working across global teams and multiple stakeholders.
- PMI Certification or equivalent experience; SAFe, Scrum, and Six Sigma certification or experience.
- Executive communication skills and ability to synthesize program status, risks, and interdependencies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Teams, Channels, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and be proactive.
- Strong problem-solving and insight generation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred education: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related technical degree or equivalent.
Pay
The wage range for this role is up to $150,000, taking into account skill sets, experience, training, and other business needs. Compensation decisions depend on individual circumstances. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
