Scrum Master - GenAI
About the role
Join our groundbreaking Generative AI team at AIG, exploring new possibilities for artificial intelligence in insurance and beyond. As a Scrum Master/Project Manager, you will guide cross-functional teams through the Scrum framework, manage product timelines, and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Ensure products and features are delivered on time with desired business outcomes
- Foster a positive team environment that promotes productivity, creativity, and high performance
- Collect and analyze metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices
- Develop and maintain execution plans, including timelines, key milestones, and resource capacity management
- Monitor progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary
- Identify and engage with all relevant stakeholders, including teams, executives, business users
- Manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery
- Cook up with cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Facilitate agile (Scrum and Kanban) ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach and mentor team members on agile practices to ensure continuous improvement
- Remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress and work to resolve conflicts
- Work closely with the Product Owners to manage the product backlog, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with project goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- PMP, CSPO, CSM or other relevant certifications required
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or similar role in an Agile environment
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, influence, and motivate teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle complex issues effectively
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools including Rally or Jira

For positions based in New Jersey, the base salary range is $128,000-$160,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
