CGI is seeking dedicated Scrum Masters with a passion for solving business problems to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee, in a hybrid environment. As a full-time consultant, you will solve important business and technical problems for local, enterprise clients while being part of a collaborative team that values personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Help the team stay focused on delivering high-value work and meeting sprint goals.
- Identify and remove impediments and blockers that impact team productivity and delivery.
- Coach team members on Scrum principles, Agile practices, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with the Product Owner to support backlog readiness, prioritization, and effective sprint planning.
- Use Jira Software and/or Confluence to track work, document team processes, and provide visibility into delivery.
- Encourage strong collaboration, accountability, and communication across the team.
- Help identify opportunities to improve team processes, delivery predictability, and overall effectiveness.
- Support the team in using metrics and retrospective insights to drive practical improvements.
- Facilitate communication between the team, leadership, and key stakeholders when needed.
- Promote a healthy Agile environment where teams can raise issues, adapt quickly, and continuously improve.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Jira Software or Confluence.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles.
- Experience facilitating team ceremonies and Agile delivery processes.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to identify and remove obstacles that impact team performance.
- Experience coaching teams toward greater ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $80,600 to $156,700.
