About the role

You will manage multiple concurrent projects for Appnovation's global and growing client list, ensuring timelines and budgets are met or exceeded. This role involves coordinating sprints, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, as well as working with Product Owners on backlog grooming and new requests. You will facilitate internal and external communications, estimate and track project velocity, develop resource plans, and assess risks. Additionally, you will coach team members in Agile frameworks, resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and ensure high-quality deliverables at the end of each sprint. Process improvement and fostering a productive team environment are key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent projects for global clients
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and maintain costs
• Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
• Work with Product Owners to handle backlog grooming and new requests
• Facilitate internal communications and act as the point of contact with external stakeholders
• Estimate and track project velocity, costs, and develop resource plans
• Assess potential issues and risks
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks and guide teams to higher levels of scrum maturity
• Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and help teams implement changes effectively
• Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards at the end of each sprint
• Identify and recommend process improvements in project delivery
• Build a productive and enjoyable environment where team members own the product

Requirements

• 3-4 years of Agile Project Management or proven Scrum Master experience in a digital agency, professional services, or consulting environment
• Experience running multiple concurrent scrum teams
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
• Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Kanban, Crystal, XP, SAFe, etc.) is a plus
• Scrum Master Certification or hands-on Agile experience that can be described in detail
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization
• Exceptional planning, organizational, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Haves

• Business analysis and requirements management experience
• A solid understanding of, or hands-on experience with, software development, including mobile development, web development, or multi-tech platform implementation
