T-Rex has been tracking a recent trend of job offer scams. These scams start with an unsolicited email or LinkedIn message from a fake or impersonated recruiter that states the candidate meets a skillset that the recruiter is looking for. That is often followed up with a false screening questionnaire and even an interview for the nonexistent position. After this, the candidate receives an official-looking job offer. In some cases, there is also a request for a large payment to acquire office equipment, such as a laptop. The scammer tells the victim that they will be reimbursed for the purchase of the office equipment, but of course this never happens.

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex problems in the field of data analysis. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects are aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve business performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope
• Perform data analysis using advanced statistical methods and tools
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

T-Rex will provide all necessary training and support to ensure success in the role.
