SCRM Analyst (Supervisory)

About The Role
The Simon Group is seeking a professional to serve as a Supervisory Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Analyst, who will provide analytical support and lead a team of analysts within an assigned account. This dynamic role will require the candidate to develop knowledge of client priorities and missions. The candidate will perform basic tasks regarding the gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing of intelligence information related to supply chain, vendor and people vetting, and other areas in support of the assigned account. The candidate will explore new data sources, create effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources to help the client illuminate risk to their mission and operating environment.
In this role, the candidate will work collaboratively with other analysts in researching, monitoring, and analyzing intelligence data and making preliminary recommendations based on that data. The candidate will investigate and perform searches for information and identify potential adverse information using open-source platforms and other client-based systems. The candidate will also serve as the supervisor of a team of analysts in support of a client's operational requirements, overseeing their research, monitoring, and analysis efforts while coordinating and collaborating with the assigned account client.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for collaborative problem solving, be highly skilled in utilizing open-source platforms, and possess expert knowledge of the client’s priorities. They will be a hands-on leader willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. The successful candidate must be an energetic professional who will advocate for the Simon Group and be able to establish and maintain strong client and internal relationships.
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical research to proactively identify risk, potential gaps, and adverse information to client’s supply chain and vendors
- Provide analysis of adversary capabilities, intentions, techniques, tactics, and procedures
- Prepare presentations and quantitative exhibits on the project scope and findings
- Deliver analytical support to achieve client satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Serve as the supervisor of analysts assigned to client account
- Ensure delivery of excellent analytical support to achieve client satisfaction
- Provide situational awareness to other members of the analytical team assigned to client account
- Track and maintain awareness of quality control and delivery of due diligence products
- Lead by example
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in leading an analytical team
- Ability to evaluate relevant material as to its importance and extract data pertaining to the assigned subject matter
- Demonstrable interpersonal skills, ability to write and speak clearly to accurately brief analytical findings to senior leaders
- Ability to develop an expert understanding of client missions and priorities
- Ability to develop an expert understanding of domains relevant to clients’ capabilities
- Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize and work under pressure
- Strong proficiency in the use of commercial Open Source and other Intelligence platforms
