About the role
Under supervision, assists physician with performing documentation in the Electronic Medical Record system, gathering information for the patient's visit, updating patient charts and sending documentation to the physician for approval, and other administrative functions as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures proper documentation of patient exam findings as diagnosed by physician in the electronic medical record
- Assist technical staff by assuring patients are placed in an exam room and supplies are available as needed for the physician
- Assist technical support with prescription refills to assure they are aware and completed for their assigned physician
Requirements
- Education: HS Diploma/GED preferred
- Experience: Prior experience required
