About the role

Assisting the physician in documentation of the patient’s medical record into the electronic health record (EHR) during appointments.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing information obtained by technicians, including exam findings, impressions/plans, procedures/consents, diagnostic results/interpretations, and prescriptions ordered by doctor.
• Sending prescriptions to patients’ pharmacies as requested by the doctor, handling prior authorization requests as needed.
• Maintaining the patient flow by knowing the doctor's schedule.
• Addressing incomplete charts, pending studies, internal communications, patient communications, pending letters, and secure messages.
• Aiding in providing patient education.

Requirements

You Have A high school diploma or equivalent
Previous medical office experience preferred
