Scorekeeper | Part-Time | Acrisure Arena

Responsibilities

• Effectively operate and understand the use of the Iceplex scoreboard
• Utilize hockey knowledge to track the play for certain clock sequences
• Keep an accurate accounting of statistics for league games on an iPad separate from the scoreboard
• Operate both penalty box doors for players entering and exiting the box
• Communicate effectively with the referees
• Possess basic hockey knowledge
• Be courteous and professional
• Performs all work in compliance with established Iceplex safety standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a scoreboard during sporting events is preferred but not required
• Must accept delegated responsibilities willingly
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as required
• Must be able to maintain a positive self-image for Iceplex
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Able to work evenings—common nights include Sunday-Wednesday/Hours 6:00pm–11:00pm
• Able to establish and maintain a working relationship with customers, peers, and supervisors
• Able to follow and adhere to instructions set forth by supervisors, policy, and procedures
• Able to communicate with guests of all ages
