About the role

Leverage advanced and specialized physics research expertise to test and analyze physical phenomena, conduct and shape R&D programs, and support Science & Technology (S&T) client challenges. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, mentor, and supervise team members.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a STEM field
• Experience with scientific programming in Python and MATLAB
• Experience in Remote Sensing
• Knowledge of optimization techniques, such as particle swarm
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience with GitLab and Git CLI
• Experience with remote sensing in Infrared
• Experience in engineering or physics
• Knowledge of flight dynamics
• Master's degree in a STEM field

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Pay

Salary is determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work Model

Booz Allen prioritizes collaboration, whether in-person or virtually. Employees working remotely are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings.

• Remote: Primarily remote, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities, based on leadership expectations and role needs.
• Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers as required.
