Leverage advanced and specialized physics research expertise to test and analyze physical phenomena, conduct and shape R&D programs, and support S&T client challenges. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced scientific programming and remote sensing expertise to analyze physical phenomena
• Conduct and shape R&D programs to address complex client challenges
• Develop innovative solutions using optimization techniques such as particle swarm
• Mentor and supervise team members

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a STEM field
• Experience with scientific programming in Python and MATLAB
• Experience in Remote Sensing
• Knowledge of optimization techniques, such as particle swarm
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Qualifications

• Experience with GitLab and Git CLI
• Experience with remote sensing in Infrared
• Experience in engineering or physics
• Knowledge of flight dynamics
• Master's degree in a STEM field

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements.

Work model expectations:

• Remote: Primarily remote work, with occasional in-person requirements at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities as needed.
• Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
