About the Role
The scientist role is based in Holmdel, NJ, USA (on site role). Be part of the consumer-centric End-to-End innovation platform focused on developing fragrance solutions for malodor control.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical projects to develop fragrance solutions for malodor control
- Plan and execute laboratory research to build fundamental understanding
- Design and interpret technical validation protocols for performance testing
- Decipher consumer pain points into executable technical problems
- Build foundational programs and capabilities together with the global R&D team and Strategic Alliance
- Foster cross-disciplinary collaboration with Perfumery, Sales, Marketing, and Consumer Insights to introduce new solutions for value to market projects with complex timelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with 4–6 years of relevant industry experience required
- Master’s degree with 1–3 years of industry experience preferred
- Technical expertise in the labs designing and executing experiments involving chemical reactions, formulations, analytical instrumentations and process equipment
- Knowledgeable in lab safety, relevant application, raw materials, & chemical processes
- Strong track record in fragrance design, method development, olfactive evaluation and headspace analysis
- Experience in both research and commercial project management
- Familiarity in scent legal and regulatory
- Experience in making fragrance microcapsule and designing fragrance technology to drive performance
- Experience with cleaning actives and formulations with cleaning actives
- Familiarity with fragrance performance evaluation, analytical characterization and/or modeling approaches

Pay
Salary Ranges: $78992- $98740
