About the role
We are seeking an Analytical Scientist with strong pharmaceutical/biotech experience to support analytical method development and routine laboratory testing. The role focuses on characterization of small molecule APIs and drug products using advanced chromatographic and electrophoretic techniques.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant industry experience; OR
- M.S. with 5+ years of Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry experience; OR
- B.S. with 7+ years of Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry experience
Skills
Required
- Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC (Reverse Phase, SEC, HIC, IEX)
- Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) and cIEF
- Simple Western
- Analytical method development and validation
- Small molecule API or drug product analytical testing
- Chromatographic separation techniques
- Laboratory software: Empower, 32 Karat
- Electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN)
- Scientific data analysis and documentation
Preferred
- MALS (Multi-Angle Light Scattering)
- DLS (Dynamic Light Scattering)
- Zeta Potential
- Electrophoresis
- RI, UV, CAD, and FLD detectors
- Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC)
- Light scattering characterization techniques
- Experience with potent compounds in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment
Pay
$65-72.62/hr (W2)
Schedule
12-month contract with possible extension.
