Scientist - II (Associate)

Key Responsibilities

• Express and purify therapeutic proteins and the critical protein reagents required for advancing our biologics discovery programs
• Test and characterize the biophysical quality of therapeutic proteins
• Maintain various cell lines in culture to support protein expression and characterization
• Work with a team to support biologics inventory and transfer requests

Qualification and Education

• Bachelor’s (with 5 years), Master’s (with 0 years) in molecular or cell biology, biochemistry, or related discipline with relevant laboratory experience

Requirements

• Expertise culturing mammalian cells and utilizing for protein expression
• Proficiency in antibody and protein purification methods such as affinity chromatography
• Demonstrated strong communication skills and ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in protein characterization methods including Ion exchange chromatography, size exclusion chromatography and capillary electrophoresis
• Experience in protein binding assays including ELISA, BLI and cell-based binding assays
