Scientist - II (Associate)

About the role

12-month contract assignment (potential for extensions) with a global health care company in Lower Gwynedd, PA. This is a 100% onsite, lab-based role within the Analytical Sciences (AS) laboratory in Science and Technology. The position reports to the Senior Leadership of the Analytical Sciences laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing (e.g., HPLC/UPLC and dissolution) of drug products and APIs under supervision.
• Perform data analysis (chromatography/spectroscopy) and present findings to the team in a timely manner.

Requirements

• BS with 4-6 years, MS with 1-3 years, or Ph.D with 0-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry.
• Hands-on analytical laboratory experience (e.g., wet chemistry, chromatography).
• Expertise in Liquid Chromatography (HPLC/UPLC) and dissolution.
• Hands-on experience with chromatographic integration, Empower software (or other chromatographic data acquisition systems), and Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN).
• Experience collecting and analyzing raw data, preparing graphs, and other visualization tools to interpret results.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in UV.
• Working knowledge of laboratory GMP, quality, compliance, and data integrity requirements, including recent industry trends.
• Troubleshooting experience with analytical techniques (e.g., chromatography, dissolution, spectroscopy).
• Ability to work independently in the laboratory.
• Working knowledge of statistics and tools (e.g., statistical data treatment, Excel, Minitab).
• Experience conducting comparative and/or multi-media dissolution studies.
• Pharma industry experience.

Pay

$31.00 - $36.00/hr (W2 contract).
