Scientist I

Cellanome is seeking a Scientist 1 to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Associate Director of Applications, you will play a crucial role in executing experimental plans, managing projects, and contributing to the scientific community.

About the Role

As a Scientist 1, you will be responsible for designing and executing experiments, coordinating resources, and interpreting results. You will also liaise with partners and contribute to the development of intellectual property.

Responsibilities

• Deliver against experimental plans, from ideation to final analysis
• Communicate effectively with partners and collaborators
• Design and execute experiments independently or in collaboration
• Create project plans and timelines
• Maintain project progress and propose solutions to challenges
• Partner with computational biology teams and external partners
• Analyze and interpret experimental data
• Prepare scientific reports and presentations
• Contribute to IP strategies

Requirements

• PhD in cell biology or related field
• Hands-on experience in wet lab work and troubleshooting
• Experience in immunology, cell and gene therapy, or immuno-oncology
• Expertise in microscopy, flow cytometry, functional genomics, and single-cell mRNA sequencing
• Experience with R, Python, or similar programming languages
• Collaborative and can-do attitude

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: PhD in cell biology or related field
• Preferred qualifications: Deep familiarity with cell work, experience with related instrumentation, and expertise in immunology, cell and gene therapy, or immuno-oncology
