Job Summary

ICR is dedicated to solving some of the most challenging problems in aging and age-related disease. We're looking for talented scientists to join our Functional Genomics group. Tasked with going "from SNP to phenotype," our Functional Genomics scientists connect genomic variants with organismic-level symptoms through molecular, cellular, tissue and animal models.

About the Role

With ICR, you'll get to:

  • Research the potential functional impact of any given SNP on protein or cellular function: from RNA to protein to cell to systems-level analysis including work on known disease-associated SNPs and VUSs in the context of various human primary and iPSC-derived cell types
  • Project manage out-sourced work with CROs to maximize your productivity
  • Collaborate with other ICR scientists and groups, including Translational Bioinformatics and Genomics, to solve complex human medical mysteries
  • Identify potentially actionable targets for therapeutic development
