Job Summary

Perform analytical laboratory procedures supporting sample analysis, method development, and validation for LC-MS–based bioanalysis of large molecule modalities. Execute high-quality sample preparation, instrument operation, and documentation in accordance with regulatory and corporate guidelines.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform and document analytical procedures in accordance with company procedures and regulatory guidelines
  • Prepare and complete documentation in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Carry out laboratory tasks associated with sample preparation including in vitro incubations, sample extractions, and SPE purification
  • Operate LC-MS instrumentation and perform routine data analysis, escalating abnormal results or potential quality failures promptly
  • Aid in troubleshooting, process improvements, and routine method/assay development under moderate supervision
  • Prepare data analysis results for upload to LIMS under the guidance of senior staff
  • Perform and document calibration, maintenance, and hands-on training for laboratory equipment and procedures as assigned

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field required
  • Bachelor's degree plus 1-2 years of related experience in method development or specific methodology area or a Masters degree; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Experience with LC-MS operation and data review in a regulated laboratory environment
  • Hands-on proficiency with sample handling and preparation techniques including extractions and SPE purification
  • Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality data and documentation to timelines
  • Ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment, exercise good judgment during testing, and escalate issues appropriately
  • Effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $51,800.00 - $108,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
