About the Role
Daily activities within a structured work environment under supervision. The role involves executing technical tasks with minimal supervision and actively supporting pilot/prototyping and scale-up runs in close collaboration with team members and cross-functional departments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare buffer/reagent/test solutions, membrane mixes, and perform membrane casting and post-processing.
- Conduct sample characterization using a variety of analytical equipment.
- Communicate project/task progress and results orally and in writing, including organizing data, performing analysis, and summarizing reports.
- Assist R&D management and technical staff in planning and tracking task progress.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation for lab notebooks, labels, and inventory.
- Perform all activities in accordance with GMP requirements and established safety procedures.
- Utilize quality concepts and tools in daily activities.
- Lift/move frequently up to 10 lbs, sometimes 25 lbs, and occasionally 40 lbs.
- Follow written policies and procedures while complying with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
- Lead lab maintenance to ensure a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, polymer or materials science & engineering, biology, or other related disciplines.
- 0–1 years of relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of general laboratory techniques such as filtration, glassware washing, micro-pipetting, pipetting, reagent preparation, and weighing.
- Experience handling chemicals with no known allergies or sensitivities.
