Job Summary The Senior Scientist, Scientific Support performs scientific reviews of customer requirements and determines appropriate testing capabilities under limited supervision. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support test feasibility, proposal development, protocol implementation, and continuous process improvement initiatives. What You'll Be Doing Perform scientific reviews of customer documentation to determine relevant internal and external testing capabilitiesPartner with external laboratories to expand testing capabilities and support feasibility assessments for new testing protocolsCollaborate cross-functionally with Business Development to develop proposal documentation outlining testing locations, testing parameters, timelines, and logisticsWork with Project Services to support post-award changes to testing parameters, logistics, protocols, sample management, and biobank activitiesLead scientific initiatives and process improvement projects while providing troubleshooting guidance and technical expertiseContribute to CAPA investigations, deviations, and resolution activities while supporting quality, Six Sigma, and safety initiativesProvide guidance, mentorship, and training support to junior team membersPartner with laboratories and subject matter experts to evaluate validation feasibility and implementation strategies for new testing methodologies What We Are Looking For Bachelor's Degree required4 years of experience in a regulated lab environmentStrong knowledge of clinical laboratory testing terminology, processes, and equipmentSound understanding of validation processes within the assigned technical areaUnderstanding of the clinical trial process and associated dependenciesProficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordOther Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree The Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Needed For This Role Effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, clients, external laboratories, and subject matter expertsDemonstrated everyday leadership, mentoring, and project management capabilitiesAbility to synthesize information across multiple scientific and operational disciplinesAbility to complete projects and deliverables within established timelines and business expectations What We Offer You We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
