Scientific Engagement Director

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Scientific Engagement Director to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead scientific relationship development with strategic partner organizations and serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives on research and innovation priorities. The position will work across multiple business lines to connect complex scientific topics with practical business and partnership outcomes. It will also help shape publications, grant applications, and collaboration agreements in a highly cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of scientific relationships within strategic partner organizations
• Advise executives on research and innovation topics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various business lines
• Identify key research topics for publications and grant applications
• Represent the organization on strategic partner committees
• Manage research and innovation projects across multiple domains
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to establish research agreements

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Engineering, Biochemistry, Health Economics, Medicine, or Physics
• 10+ years of successful experience in medical research and innovation
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to translate complex scientific information for diverse audiences
• Experience engaging with C-Level Executives and Government Officials
• Strategic thinking and independent work capability

Pay

$154,170 – $211,981 annually
