Director - Scientific Engagement

About the role

This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute scientific content strategies for new product launches
• Lead as the medical marketing representative on cross-functional product teams
• Create scientifically rigorous content including launch messaging and educational resources
• Translate complex scientific information into clear communications for diverse stakeholders
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate scientific messaging and alignment with strategy
• Support product launch readiness with messaging guides and sales materials
• Monitor emerging evidence and market trends to inform positioning and strategies

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) in molecular biology, genetics, oncology, life sciences, or a related scientific discipline
• 7+ years of experience in molecular diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or oncology-focused medical marketing
• Demonstrated experience supporting new product launches and developing scientific content
• Strong knowledge of genomics, tumor biology, and the clinical application of molecular diagnostics
• Exceptional scientific writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
• Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple initiatives

Pay

$160,000 – $190,000 annually
