Science Enrichment Instructor

MISTAFF is a collaborative effort of the Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators, Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators, Michigan Association of School Boards, Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals, Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association, and Michigan School Public Relations Association.

About the Role

We are seeking passionate educators to fill various teaching positions across Michigan K-12 schools. These roles provide an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while working in supportive and collaborative environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
• Participate in departmental, school, and district meetings, as well as professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate or eligibility for alternative certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (required for certification).
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional growth and learning.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with diverse student populations is preferred.
