SCI Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Formulate local policies, plans, and procedures required to manage SCI protection functions in strict accordance with DoD, DNI, and Air Force regulations.
• Maintain and update the SCI Billet Structure (SCIBS) and Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) records for over 1,000 indoctrinated personnel.
• Review eligibility requests, conduct screening interviews, perform indoctrination briefings, and issue facility badge access.
• Investigate security incidents alongside the SSO and ISSM, coordinate with higher headquarters for tracking numbers, and guide Inquiry Officials through the resolution process.
• Provide continuous operational security (OPSEC), communications security (COMSEC), and classification marking training to personnel.
• Carefully review Performance Work Statements (PWS) and ensure the proper execution of DD Form 254.
• Carefully coordinate industrial security procedures.
• Maintain facility accreditation and alarm systems for all designated SCI Facilities (SCIFs) in accordance with ICD 705.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 additional years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of related experience working directly with SCI Security program functions.
• Must complete DISS/JPAS training within six months of starting on contract.
• Familiarity with government security policy manuals, including applicable ICDs, JAFANs, and DoD Manuals.

Qualifications

• Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• A willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph is required.
