School Support Paraprofessional - Monitor (Lunch) -Anticipated

About the role

Responsibilities

• Use school software and technology to process and account for food sales.
• Adhere to guidelines of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
• Maintain student conduct, building policies, and procedures as outlined in the student handbook.
• Maintain cleanliness of supervised areas.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Building Principal and/or designee.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Ability to perform basic monetary mathematical calculations.

Skills

• Proficiency with school software and technology for food sale processing.
• Knowledge of NSLP guidelines.
• Ability to manage student conduct and enforce policies.
• Attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clerical and administrative task performance.

Pay

Base pay rate: $15.79 per hour.

Schedule

2.5 hours per day (11:00 am – 1:30 pm), 175 days per year plus contracted holidays.
