School Support Paraprofessional - Monitor (Breakfast)

About the role

Position Title: Breakfast Monitor. Reports to: Building Principal and/or designee. Job Goal: Supervise and provide for the needs of students.

Responsibilities

• Ability to use school software and technology to process and account for a food sale.
• Ability to adhere to guidelines of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
• Maintain student conduct, building policies, and procedures as outlined in the student handbook.
• Maintain cleanliness of supervised areas.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Building Principal and/or designee.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Ability to do basic monetary mathematical calculations.
• Such additional qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and necessary under law.
• Such additional qualifications shall not be arbitrary or capricious.

Pay

Base pay rate: $15.79

0.5 hrs./day (8:05A - 8:35A) 175 days plus contracted holidays
