About the Role

As a School Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise all staff by reviewing daily logs, providing written evaluations to staff critiquing their performance, and observing the quality of their student interactions.
  • Complete weekly educational progress notes on staff and quarterly educational review on students and assist students in meeting treatment goals.
  • Assure and monitor student location and movement and staff placement.
  • Role model and teach effective supervision and management of clients, interact meaningfully with clients, and observe client behavior and intervene appropriately.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information as it relates to client information.
  • Implement and mentor employees regarding the company's policies on professional expectations, code of conduct and other practices and procedures.
  • Serve as a role model for clients and employees and support the company's mission, goals and objectives.
  • Schedule employee training to ensure that all mandatory training requirements are met.
  • Maintain Safety & Security of Clients & Facility.
  • Teach and demonstrate leadership during emergency procedures.
  • Address client grievances as appropriate.
  • Support the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promote the Seven Key Principles of care.
  • Demonstrate appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management techniques and skills.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Education or a related field.

Preferred:

  • 3 years' experience delivering training, developing content, and knowledge of adult learning principles.

Other Qualifications:

  • At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI).
  • Non-communicable diseases physical exam.
  • Valid driver's license from employee's state of residence.
  • Valid registered vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

  • $65,000 annually
