About the Role
Provide comprehensive health services to students within a designated area.
Responsibilities
- Deliver school health services, including routine care, special needs support, and emergency first aid.
- Maintain accurate student health records and document services provided.
- Participate in educational initiatives for health awareness within the department and school.
- Communicate effectively with management, parents/guardians, school staff, and healthcare personnel.
- Provide care addressing physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of students.
- Ensure compliance with departmental, school, state, federal, and HR policies and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) or obtain within 5 years of hire.
- RN licensure and BLS certification are required.
- Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience; experience in pediatric nursing or school setting preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams is preferred.
Schedule
Part-time role (FTE 0.6), onsite, serving students within a 30-mile radius from home, Monday through Friday during the school session.
