Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily operation of the health room
- Teaching of health-related topics in classrooms
- Advisor to staff concerning health issues
- Mobility required to move in and around buildings
- Requires effective written, verbal, and non-verbal means of communication
Required Qualifications
- BSN
- Current Missouri nursing license
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent nursing assessment skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to promote and participate in the health and well-being of children
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, community health or emergency room
- Experience with special needs students
- Computer skills
- Flexibility
- Detail-oriented
