School Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care, including routine, special needs, and emergency first aid.
• Maintain accurate student health records and document services provided.
• Participate in educational initiatives within the department and hospital.
• Communicate effectively with management, parents, school authorities, and healthcare teams.
• Ensure compliance with departmental, school, state, federal, and HR policies and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of one year healthcare experience; school or pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Registered Nurse licensure and BLS certification required.
• Education: BSN or must obtain within five years of hire.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams preferred.

Part-time role with a FTE of 0.65, onsite location.
