School Staff Nurse

The School Staff Nurse provides comprehensive health services to students, including routine care, emergency first aid, and management of special needs. They maintain accurate student health records and collaborate with management, parents, school staff, and healthcare teams to ensure student well-being. Key responsibilities include delivering clinical care, participating in educational initiatives, and adhering to departmental, school, state, and federal policies. The role requires demonstrated knowledge in caring for patients’ physical, psychological, social, and safety needs across all ages. Proficiency in MS Office and experience in pediatric or school settings are preferred. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (or obtaining it within five years), current RN licensure, BLS certification, and one to two years of healthcare experience. The position is part-time, onsite, with a focus on providing quality nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.
