School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Adelanto, CA
Position Overview
As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on student needs
- Support students with a variety of communication, articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic language needs
Minimum Requirements
- Meet the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Hold a degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Possess current licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California
- Have at least one year of professional Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred (school-based experience is a plus)
- Maintain current CPR certification, if required by the district or assignment
- Complete TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray requirements as applicable
- Maintain a current health certificate when required
- Meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
