About the role
Strides Therapy & Educational Services is a leading local provider of contract therapy services dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of students in schools. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of professionals, working collaboratively to support students' communication and language development within educational settings.
Responsibilities
- Play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges, improve their speech and language skills, and achieve their educational goals.
- Promote students' overall success and well-being in the school environment.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Michigan licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. (if applicable)
- Education Certificate (if applicable)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC SLP) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience in pediatric or school-based speech-language pathology is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, educators, and support staff.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
- Dedication to providing culturally competent and student-centered care.

Schedule
Part-time position up to 20 hours per week, serving private schools.
Qualifications
- K-high school students with a variety of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and multiple disabilities.
Pay
$65 - $70 per hour.
