About the Role
This is a full-time, contract position for a school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) in the greater Rockford, IL area.
Responsibilities
- Conducting evaluations and providing direct therapy
- Consulting on speech-language services
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Communicating effectively with staff and families
- Documenting progress and preparing reports
- Participating in meetings and professional discussions
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible Illinois licensure (SLP-CCC or CFY)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Passion for student-centered practice
