Responsibilities
- Serve as CST case manager, completing social history assessments and facilitating CST meetings
- Provide mandated individual and group counseling for IEP and 504 students
- Collaborate to implement the company SPED and SEL model within the school
- Facilitate staff training on child development and behavior best practices
- Conduct classroom observations and track student progress
- Offer Tier 2 & 3 counseling based on BRtS process identification
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans after conducting assessments
- Deliver crisis intervention services including suicide risk assessments
- Connect families with external support services and collaborate for continuity of care
- Act as the school HIB coordinator and investigator
Qualifications
- Masters in Social Work and NJ School Social Worker Certification
- Experience in individual and group counseling for students with emotional/behavioral issues
- Knowledge in supporting teachers with SEL program implementation
- Minimum of three years experience with high school students in urban settings
