Job Description:
At Supplemental Health Care we know that students come first and that our school-based Social Workers deserve specialized support for their careers. Currently, we’re hiring a Social Worker to work at a school in Reading, Pennsylvania. As a Social Worker with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as a Social Worker working in a school setting.

Social Worker Contract Details:
$41.40 - $44.60 per hour
37-week contracts
Social Worker will be promoting the general well-being of students
Working with outside agencies to provide support to families
Offering mentoring and suggestions for Teachers and other school personnel
Developing and providing crisis intervention strategies to improve student success
Working to maximize coping skills for students in difficult situations

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social work
• Social worker license/certification such as LCSW, LMSW, or state specific professional educator license must meet position requirements.
• Previous pediatric experience preferred
