Social Work - School Social Worker - $49 per hour

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a School Social Worker for a local contract position in Ionia, Michigan.

This role involves promoting the general well-being of students, collaborating with outside agencies to support families, mentoring teachers and school personnel, developing crisis intervention strategies, and helping students build coping skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote the general well-being of students
• Work with outside agencies to provide support to families
• Offer mentoring and suggestions for teachers and other school personnel
• Develop and provide crisis intervention strategies to improve student success
• Help students maximize coping skills in difficult situations

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work
• Social worker license/certification such as LCSW, LMSW, or a state-specific professional educator license that meets position requirements
• Previous pediatric experience preferred

Pay

$45.30 - $48.80 per hour

Schedule

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks (42-week contract)
• 32 hours per week
• 6-hour shifts, days
