About the role

Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts nationwide to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we're partnering with a school located in St. Louis, Missouri to hire a Social Worker.

Responsibilities

  • Promoting the general well-being of students
  • Working with outside agencies to provide support to families
  • Mentoring and suggesting to Teachers and other school personnel
  • Developing and providing crisis intervention strategies to improve student success
  • Maximizing coping skills for students in difficult situations

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work
  • Social worker license/certification such as LCSW, LMSW, or state specific professional educator license meeting position requirements
  • Previous pediatric experience preferred

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
