Job Description

Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts nationwide to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re partnering with a school located in Walled Lake, Michigan to hire a Social Worker. Social Worker Contract Details:

  • $50.95 - $54.85 per hour
  • 42-week contracts
  • Social Worker will be promoting the general well-being of students
  • Working with outside agencies to provide support to families
  • Offering mentoring and suggestions for Teachers and other school personnel
  • Developing and providing crisis intervention strategies to improve student success
  • Working to maximize coping skills for students in difficult situations

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social work
  • License/Certification: LCSW, LMSW, or state specific professional educator license
  • Previous Pediatric Experience: Preferred

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 7 hour shifts and 35 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
