School Services Supervisor (BCBA Certification Required)

About the role

The Supervisor of School Services oversees behavioral assessment, intervention planning, and service delivery within educational settings. They conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and provide classroom observations and recommendations.

This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, staff, and families—to ensure consistent behavioral supports and support district initiatives such as Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).

Responsibilities

• Train and coach school personnel on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques, crisis prevention, and data collection.
• Supervise Behavior Interventionists and Program Managers.
• Ensure behavioral programs meet district, state, and ethical standards.
• Provide consultative and occasional direct support to optimize student success.

Requirements

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Extensive experience in school-based behavioral consulting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ABA principles, special education law, and team collaboration.
• Excellent communication, data analysis, training, and cultural sensitivity skills.

Work Environment

Work primarily occurs in school classrooms and offices, with some travel between sites.
