School Services - School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - $43-48 per hour

Job Description

AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a local contract job in Culver, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of a supportive school team serving students in the Madras & Culver, Oregon area.
• Provide speech-language therapy services to students in various age groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Assess and document student progress according to established protocols.
• Participate in team meetings and staff development activities.

Requirements

• Meet Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology (BSPA) requirements for SLPAs.
• Hold a current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Oregon.
• Pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

$43-$48/hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Full-time | Monday-Friday | 8-hour days (7:30 AM start)
