Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and diagnose communication impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
- Maintain detailed documentation and student records.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and needs.
- Understand and adhere to IDEA regulations and special education processes.
- Attend and collaborate on Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Develop and implement Individualized Educational Plans for students with disabilities.
- Maintain a list of referred, screened, and eligible students receiving speech and language services.
- Compile case history data including family, health, developmental, and environmental history.
- Ensure compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and related regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the program.
Requirements
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Professional Standards Commission approved certificate in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and the community.
- Experience in an educational setting.

Schedule
Hours may vary (approx. 40 hours).
Pay
$51-53/hr+
