Requirements

• Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain prior to the school year start)
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates may be considered depending on district supervision availability
• 1–2 years of experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with writing, implementing, and tracking Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Knowledge of federal and state IEP regulations and documentation requirements
• Willingness to obtain state licensure if not already licensed
• Valid SLP license in Florida or eligibility to obtain

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing evaluations to determine student eligibility for communication services.
• Develop, write, and implement measurable goals and objectives for student IEPs in strict compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Provide high-quality direct and indirect therapy for students presenting with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and other communication disorders.
• Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, ESE staff, therapists, and families to provide integrated support and classroom accommodations.
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation for all assessments, therapeutic sessions, and consultation services.
