About the role
PediaStaff is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in New Caney, TX for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a great opportunity to work with an elementary school population while supporting students with their communication needs.
Job Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 21, 2027
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, up to 37.5 hours per week
- Hours: Up to 7.5 hours per day, based on assigned campus schedule
- Setting: In-person, school-based
- Population: Elementary students
- Pay: $33–$40+ per hour
- Provide support with therapy, ARDs, and assessments
- This position is filling a district vacancy and may end if the vacancy is filled by a district employee
- Hours are available when students are in session
Qualifications
- Appropriate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field
- Current Texas SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Interest in working with an elementary school population
